Diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) is a reduction in the quantity of the ovarian reserve (primordial follicles) and is usually diagnosed by (Rasool et al. 2017, Jirge 2016):
- Advanced age (>40)
- Poor ovarian response to stimulation (<3 oocytes)
- AMH 0.5 – 1.1 ng/ml, antral follicle count 5-7
